Thomas Klein, Schlagzeuger der Band »Kreidler«, prägt mit seiner Rhythmusarbeit den Sound der Post-Rock-Elektroniker Sølyst aus Düsseldorf. Unheilvolle Synth-Klänge, bedrohliche Basslinien, durchdringende Trommelrhythmen, hohl klingende Percussion-Effekte: Sølyst dringt mit seinem »Tribal Kraut Dub« in unbekannte Tiefen. Die Legende Wolf Müller: Der Düsseldorfer Hippie hat in den 70ern die Welt bereist und überall mit den Menschen getrommelt. Er lebt einen Traum– noch heute. Sein »Balztanz« wurde zum Symbol einer Bewegung, das Aphrodisiakum einer ganzen Generation. Und außerdem: Ilias Pitsios! Gleich zwei Labels betreibt der Mann aus Athen: Zum einen »Into the Light« und das House-Label »Echovolt«. Seine DJ-Sets sind in klassischer, elektronischer Clubmusik verwurzelt und übersäht mit vielseitigem, zeitgenössischen Twist.
